Crystal Palace and Marseille are at loggerheads over the fee for goalkeeper Steve Mandanda.

L’Equipe reports that Palace has rejected the Ligue 1 club’s initial bid of £1m for their former shot-stopper.

The Eagles are determined to hold out for a £5m fee, with Marseille willing to pay a maximum of £2m.

Mandanda moved to Selhurt Park from Marseille on a free transfer last summer, but failed to make an impression in his stint, having made only 9 league appearances before being sidelined with a long-term knee injury.
