Arsenal defender Sead Kolasinac has expressed his desire to work alongside new teammate Mesut Ozil.
Kolasinac joined Arsenal from Schalke on a free transfer recently and the 23-year-old will now be linking up with a former player of the Royal Blues in Mesut Ozil, at the Emirates Stadium.
The Bosnian is a keen admirer of Ozil, having followed the German international’s career since his Schalke days, and the new Arsenal recruit is now looking forward to playing alongside the Gunners’ star playmaker.
“He also came through the academy at Schalke, went to Werder Bremen, had a great World Cup and then went to Real Madrid,” the 23-year-old told Arsenal Player.
“From there he’s come here. We’ve all followed his career, especially the boys who come from Gelsenkirchen, where he was born. We’ve all followed his career.
“I spoke to our old coach, Norbert Elgert, who has a close relationship to him. He informed me about Mesut and said that he will welcome me really well here. I’m looking forward to getting started and being able to get to know the boys.”
