Arsenal have kicked off talks with Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette.
Lacazette is also a target for Liverpool, with his agents due to meet with English club officials this week.
The striker told Eurosport: “That could be an interesting option, it is a great league with interesting teams.
“For the moment, those are only rumours.
“I will wait until the end of the international stint with France before taking my decision.
“Is the Champions League a deal breaker for my choice? No, but it is important.”
Lyon want £50m for the 26-year-old who scored 36 goals inside 44 appearances last season, including 13 in an 11-game spell between December and February.
