Barcelona coach Ernesto Valverde was happy to talk transfers after their thumping Copa del Rey win over Celta Vigo.
After the 5-0 rout, Valverde admitted it could’ve been Javier Mascherano’s last game for the club. The defender is due to sign for Hebei China Fortune.
Valverde said: “We are going to wait, people appreciate him a lot for the time he has been here.”
The coach also spoke of new signing Yerry Mina.
He said: “He is a player that the club has been following for a long time, we think he can help us, he is young, with projection and self-confidence for the game.
“As he adapts to our game, to the Liga, to European football… he requires a process of adaptation and we hope he can help us during the season.”
