Borussia Dortmund chief Michael Zorc is delighted with their swoop for Manchester City midfielder Jadon Sancho.
Kicker says the move to BVB will cost the Germans an initial €250,000 rising to a fee of €7m based on appearances and success.
Zorc declared: “We are very pleased that Jadon Sancho, who is currently one of the greatest talents in European football, wanted to play for BVB.
“We are convinced that we can help this very young player continue to develop his game and become a real asset for our team in the medium term.”
Sancho has been given the No7 shirt by BVB, inheriting it from new Barcelona signing Ousmane Dembele
