Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has made it clear that any speculation regarding his players will be dealt with at the end of the season.

Star striker Diego Costa remains the subject of a big-money transfer to the Chinese Super League, while Eden Hazard remains embroiled in Real Madrid talk.

But the rumours can wait according to Conte who saw the Spaniard score twice and the Belgian once in Tuesday night’s 4-2 victory over Southampton.

The Blues were able to restore their seven-point lead at the top of the Premier League table and according to Conte, that is all that matters right now.

“I continue to repeat this concept. It’s important to be focused on the moment because it’s important for all of us,” Conte said.

“I’m reading a lot of speculation about every one of us. It’s right to be focused.

“I’m sure for my players that they are focused about our target.

“I think it’s normal at this part of the season also to have someone that wants to put a problem in your team, to create disorder.

“But we must be stronger than this speculation. We must be compact and to think our target is more important.”
