Former Barcelona striker Christophe Dugarry can see Zinedine Zidane taking charge of Manchester United.
The ex-Real Madrid coach is being linked with Jose Mourinho’s job at Old Trafford.
Dugarry told RMC: “Honestly, I think it’s unlikely because it’s during the season. He planned to take care of his children and take a year to be a little quiet.
“Obviously Manchester is interested, who is today the top coach on the market with this calibre to train a team like Manchester? This is obviously Zizou.
“He would be a good idea since I think Manchester has a squad, in terms of quantity and quality, which is good. There are a lot of traumatized players in this team, I’m convinced, by Mourinho and by his way of doing things.
“So I think that someone like Zizou would be welcome, in speech and dialogue … But for that it is necessary to speak the language, to be able to exchange, in the way Zizou does things.”
