featuring in recent weeks, John Terry is still finding a way to exude his influence on Chelsea.
The defender has not featured in the league for Antonio Conte’s men since injuring his ankle against Swansea in September and is currently having to make do with a place on the bench.
But despite not playing as much as he would’ve liked to, Terry still managed to set an example to his team-mates on the pitch as he led his side’s warm-down after their win over Southampton.captain was bestowed with a stopwatch at the St Mary’s Stadium as he ensured his fellow substitutes were put through their paces.
Though he wasn’t in full control of the session – there were a couple of Chelsea fitness coaches casting an eye on proceedings – Terry was seemingly giving instructions to Branislav Ivanovic, Willian and Michy Batshuayi during the warm-down.
But while the trio received a few minutes against Southampton, Terry was given a watching brief once again.

The club captain was an unused substitute for the third game in a row on Sunday and may have to become accustomed to life on the sidelines under Conte.
The Blues are currently flourishing in a 3-4-3 formation and currently sit just one point off the top of the table after a run of four straight wins.
Cesar Azpilicueta, David Luiz and Gary Cahill have provided the foundations for Chelsea’s glistening recent form, keeping four clean sheets in the league since Conte implemented the system on his side.side’s EFL Cup defeat by West Ham last Wednesday and seemed uncomfortable playing as part of a three-man defence.
The four-time Premier League winner quickly found himself back on the bench as goals from Eden Hazard and Diego Costa sealed a 2-0 victory for the Blues.
After the match Terry took to Snapchat to post a picture of him relaxing with his wife, Toni.
