Leicester City boss Claude Puel is alarmed by the inflation in the transfer market.
The January transfer window was record-breaking with an incredible £420million spent by Premier League clubs, almost double the previous record.
“The transfer window is a busy period but a difficult one because we can see the prices, the market is crazy,” Puel said.
“I don’t know if it’s a good thing if Leicester participate like this. Perhaps we cannot.
“There are a lot of expensive players, but we need to continue our game and keep this squad because it’s a good squad with a fantastic squad and always keep this spirit.”
He added: “We have two players for every position. That’s enough until the end of the season. It’s a good balance.
“I said before the transfer window, if we can strengthen the team, okay, but it was not possible to strengthen the team for different reasons.
“It is important to keep this team with good focus and fantastic spirit and to move on also.”
