Manchester United have kicked off new contract talks with Paul Pogba.
The Times says a first round of talks were to be held between the parties on Tuesday morning.
Pogba will be told by United they want him playing a central role in the team.
He is still tied to United until 2021 (plus a 12 month option). The new contract should run until 2023.
Real Madrid tried to sign the 26-year-old midfielder last summer, but United refused to do business.
