Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has employed Paul Pogba to help them land Atletico Madrid star Antoine Griezmann.
The Daily Record says Mourinho is desperate to bring Atletico Madrid ace Griezmann to Old Trafford next summer in a bid to bolster his attack.
The French striker is considered to be one of the best around and would certainly be an improvement on some of United’s current forwards.
Atletico have no intention of selling, but Griezmann could end up pushing for the move himself after being contacted by compatriot Pogba EVERY day.
The current world-record signing would love his international teammate to join him in England, and Mourinho is encouraging talks between the pair ahead of a summer bid.
United first tried to sign Griezmann last summer before Euro 2016, but the player wanted to remain focused on his football.
However, it seems highly likely a transfer can be agreed this time around, with Diego Simeone’s future at the Vicente Calderon also unclear.
