Former Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is hoping to secure a return to Real Madrid after turning down a number of jobs during the summer.
Mourinho has been without a club since he was sacked by the Red Devils in December after a poor start to the 2018/2019 Premier League campaign.
Goal says the Portuguese boss would be keen on a return to the Bernabeu if the club decide to part ways with Zinedine Zidane.
Although Madrid are currently top of the La Liga with 14 points from their opening six games, the Frenchman has been under growing pressure after a number of unconvincing performances.
The 56-year-old has attracted significant interest from the likes of Monaco, Lille, Wolfsburg, Schalke and AC Milan between May and September.
