Newcastle United are chasing Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek.
The Daily Mail says Loftus-Cheek is a target for recently promoted Newcastle.
The midfielder is targeting regular Premier League football after failing to make a sustained impact on the first-team at Chelsea under both Antonio Conte and Jose Mourinho.
Loftus-Cheek made just six appearances for the Blues last season as they romped to the title and has therefore been made available by the Stamford Bridge side.
Newcastle were keen on fellow Chelsea youngster Tammy Abraham, but the fact he joined Swansea means Rafa Benitez’s side are able to sign Loftus-Cheek on loan.
