Phil Bardsley believes Burnley can finish in the top ten next season.
The fullback signed for the Clarets last week from Stoke City.
“Stoke have done well in the last three or four years, we finished ninth twice while I was there so it was a successful little spell,” the former Manchester United and Sunderland defender said.
“But that’s in the past. I’m looking forward to being here now and hopefully we can repeat that and finish in the top half.
“That has to be the aim now, you can see that from the players the manager is bringing in. He’s trying to move it in the right direction and build the club and hopefully we can be part of that.”
