Perhaps the biggest transfer saga of the summer, Kylian Mbappe has stated that Real Madrid’s interest in him is nothing new.
Los Blancos, along with Arsenal, Paris Saint-Germain, Liverpool and many more, have all been linked with a deal that could exceed 110 million euros.
“Real Madrid? They have been trying to sign me since I was 14,” the striker told Canal+ after France’s win over England.
“I’m going to go away with the family and we’ll think about what’s going to happen.
“We have to sort it out, see what happens with the club too, because I’m under contract with [Monaco], I’m not free. We’ll see what’s happening.”
Mbappe has previously stated his desire to lift the Champions League over any other trophy, including the Ballon d’Or, and reached the semi-final stage of the competition with Monaco last year.
