Five months out from the final at the Matmut Atlantique, the Coupe de la Ligue travels to Bordeaux on November 8 for the round of 16 draw.
On March 31, 2018, the Coupe de la Ligue final will be held at the Matmut Atlantique in Bordeaux, the second time the competition’s showpiece finale will be held out side of Paris. The draw for the competition’s round of 16 will be the occasion to launch promotions for the gale event
Bordeaux hosts the Coupe de la Ligue draw!
With the 16 clubs in the draw for the next round are already known, the draw for the round of 16 has been set for November 8, 2017, and will take place from 12:15 at Bordeaux’s City Hall in the presence of Alain Juppé (Mayor of Bordeaux and President of Bordeaux Métropole), Nathalie Boy de la Tour (LFP President) and Bernard Hagelsteen (SBA President).
‘European’ clubs join the mix
The Coupe de la Ligue’s round of 16 marks the entry into competition of France’s six European representatives, namely: AS Monaco, Paris Saint-Germain, OGC Nice, Olympique Lyonnais, Olympique de Marseille and Girondins de Bordeaux.
Nine Ligue 1 Conforama clubs (LOSC, Angers SCO, Stade Rennais FC, FC Metz, Toulouse FC, Amiens SC, RC Strasbourg Alsace, SM Caen and Montpellier HSC) and Tours FC (Domino’s Ligue 2) are the other clubs who will be fighting it out for a place in the quarter-finals.
